Mahyar TAHERI is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at NEOMA Business School. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and a Ph.D. in Logistics and Management from Kuhne Logistics University. Mahyar’s primary research focuses on sustainable operations and supply chain management. The sustainability impacts of firms are shaped by the interactions of supply chain members, market competition, and consumer preferences. His research examines the interplay between these factors and their effect on the sustainability performance of firms. Notably, Mahyar has examined how to make reusable packaging initiatives in the consumer-packaged-goods and takeaway food industry more viable to tackle plastic packaging waste.
