MANDAL Prasenjit
Prasenjit Mandal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, and Decision Support at NEOMA Business School. He holds a Ph.D. in Decision Sciences and Information Systems from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, India. His research primarily focuses on Revenue Optimization and Retail Operations, Marketing-OM Interface, and Supply Chain Finance. He utilizes analytical models and applies optimization and game-theoretic or econometric models to study real-world business scenarios where supply chain players face trade-offs in their strategic decision-making. His works have been published in the leading refereed journals such as the European Journal of Operational Research, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, and Tourism Management. Prasenjit serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for several journals, including the European Journal of Operational Research, Annals of Operations Research, and Journal of Business Research. Before joining NEOMA, Prasenjit was an Assistant Professor in Operations Management (OM) at the IIM Calcutta, India. At IIM Calcutta, he also served as the Group Coordinator of the OM Group. Prior to joining the doctoral programme at IIM Bangalore, Prasenjit worked as an Oracle ERP techno-functional consultant for 33 months at Tata Consultancy Services.
