LESCOAT Pierre
Pierre is an Assistant Professor at NEOMA Business School. He holds a PhD from Sorbonne University and ESCP Europe, an M.A. in Management and Organizational Dynamics from Paris X University, and an M.Sc. from HEC Paris. His PhD was awarded the 2019 best interdisciplinary thesis award from the National Foundation for Management Research and Teaching .
His research primarily focuses on two key sectors: the financial industry and the film industry. His work is interdisciplinary, drawing on economic sociology, gender studies, and cultural sociology, with a strong emphasis on qualitative methodologies.
Pierre actively collaborates on research projects with various organizations and is also involved in the ODILE project, funded by the French National Research Agency, in partnership with the University of Paris-Saclay and ISG Paris.
Before transitioning to academia, he held various positions in the media and telecommunications industries. His research has been published in New Technology, Work and Employment, Gender, Work and Organization, and by Presses Universitaires de Rennes.
